เมตตา

n. 1. kindness, mercifulness, clemency, compassion;

v. 2. to be kind to, take pity on.

โปรดเมตตาผมบ้าง Please be kind to me.

(Please have mercy on me). ความยุติธรรมย่อมต้องเจือด้วยเมตตาจิต Justice must be tempered with mercy. ท่านสมภารสอนให้มีเมตตากรุณาไม่ฆ่าสัตว์ตัดชิวิต The abbot taught us to have compassion and not to kill animals/living things.
